Club Mission & History

The Fayetteville Newcomer’s Club provides a variety of charitable, educational, and social programs to better the Northwest Arkansas community, assist the transition of new members into the area, and help residents adjust to lifestyle changes.

Unlike some other groups, our club does not prohibit members from joining or being active even if they are not “newcomers” to the area. We find that our long-term members bring valuable information and experience to our group and we want them to be a part of our organization as long as they wish. Our club started as a Welcome Wagon Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas in the 1960’s. In 1996, our current Fayetteville Newcomers’ Club became an offshoot of that organization. Our club is no longer affiliated with any national organization.
